The Hazardous Energetic Materials Unit (HEMU) was established to provide a specific level of capability around energetic materials across a range of incidents and locations.
Deployment of HEMU resources is controlled by our 24 hour control, dispatch and co-ordination centre (CDCC).
Access to HEMU response services to recognised Emergency Services/ Government Agencies is via the CDCC.
Reactive callout to ongoing incidents is provided as a complimentary, no charge service to relevant Emergency services and other agencies that have registered for the service.

Remote systems (Fire ROV and observation platforms)
